ABOUT ME

NAME

My  registered name is Abigail Arloo, however I prefer to be called Yarh (Yaa) which means “thursday born” or Mhaame , a title which means “mother”. You could also call me Bhenewarh (Benewaa) which is the name of my grandaunt (late) whom I was named after. I also go by the chinese name 安贝 ( Anbei) . For the purpose of this blog and all other informal activities, please just call me Yarh. 

AGE AND D.O.B

I’m a 23-year old young lady born on Thursday 6th July , 1995. (thursday borns , july borns sayy hiiii in the comment section..)

FAMILY BACKGROUND

I come from a family of  eight (8) and I’m the second child, first daughter with 3 brothers and 2 other sisters. I’m half Nzema ( paternal ) and half Awutu ( maternal). Awutu-Bawjiase is my hometown but my family is currently based in Kasao, both of which are found in the central region of Ghana.

EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND

If my memory serves me right , I started schooling in DC preparatory school and then moved to Great Provider both in Bawjiase for my nursery and kindergarten education. I also attended St. Mary’s Anglican School ( primary 1-3) and then moved to Servant King International School where I completed my Junior Secondary School education in the year 2009. 

I had my Senior High School education at St. Mary’s Girls , Accra ( merries ! obaawoo!!). I studied General Science ( Science 1 girls!!!!) and completed in the year 2013.

I’m currently reading Clinical Medicine at Jiamusi University, China and in my fourth year.

FAITH

I’m a Christian ( Adventist ).

FOOD AND LEISURE

Before I moved to china , my favorite Ghanaian dish was Boiled Yam with Garden eggs stew but since I came to china, my favorite dish is anything from home please … I don’t joke with my Jollof , Waakye or Indomie at all..

For leisure , I watch movies/series , listen to music, read , write and sleep. I occasionally play the guitar ( which I’ve been learning since the 80’s and hardly making progress at all). My favorite thing to do to release stress is to play music and just dance in my room ( my roomie’s source of entertainment sometimes).

Single.

BUSINESS

I have an online shop on instagram that primarily deals in clothings and accessories mostly for ladies. It’s still at the budding stage and hopefully with time it’ll become a household name . You can check it out @myminikloset_ and while you’re there you can follow too .
